Our motto is Dream... Design.. Build. Dreaming is just as important to us as designing and building. Big ideas, long term thinking. Were not afraid to take chances, have fun, and explore. The spirit of experimentation and adventure are critical to our creative process here. We strive to be visionaries in our field and work on public art, community building, and collaboration projects as a major source of our energy.

My Chaboo

The name Chaboo originates from the Japanese word chabudai which means low table. I shortened it to Chabu and then changed the spelling to Chaboo because of the bamboo I use. Chaboo is also very fun to yell really loud. Chabbbbooooooooo!!!!!

Chaboo was designed with the intention of creating an affordable piece of furniture made of high quality materials that is also attractive, simple, and highly versatile. The body is made out of solid bamboo ply with various materials available to create the insert area. Rather than being defined as a table or bench, the function of the Chaboo is intended to be user generated. The design encourages the chaboo user to be creative in utilizing the piece to its fullest potential. How will you Chaboo?
